Joining Marianne Marlow today, on Conscious Conversations, are guests: Dr. Leila Kozak and Paul Vlasuk, to discuss Codependent Relationships v. Tending Relationships.
Dr. Leila Kozak is a humanistic & transpersonal psychologist with a background in stress physiology, human connection/bonding and integrative medicine. Paul Vlasuk is a Professional Coach and men’s group leader with a background in Non-Violent Communication (NVC).

Leila and Paul are co-directors of the Center for Relationship Education and Renewal (CREaR) The purpose of CREaR is to bring understanding, compassion and connection into intimate relationships. They enjoy working together as a couple, bringing into teaching and mentoring couples and singles the synergy of their feminine and masculine perspectives.

Expectations about intimate relationships have deeply changed during the last 100 years, yet, many of us still live by outdated beliefs and relationship skills that have been passed down from previous generations. As a result, many people live in hopelessness and despair about ever experiencing the love and support they seek. Paul and Leila are guided by a vision of a world where intimate partners can learn new skills, turn conflict into a tool for creating safety and trust and be “fully there” for each other.

Their work is informed by many spiritual paths, compassionate communication (NVC), and their personal story as well as by recent insights emerging from a New Science of Love. Paul and Leila’s mission is to provide relationship education that integrates the science and the practice of intimate relationship skills so we may bring understanding and compassion within intimate relationships, which will create peace and compassion in the world.
